Last twelve tickets to Round 3 at stake in Men´s EHF Cup

The remaining twelve spots in Round 3 of the Men´s EHF Cup are at the stake during the next weekend 19-21 October.

In three cases both legs of Round 2 will be played over the weekend as HC Dinamo Poltava from Ukraine host Croatia´s RK Siscia, Icelandic HK Kopavogur travel for two matches to Slovenia´s Branik Maribor and Portugal´s Madeira SAD make a trip to Greece´s A.C. Diomidis Argous.

Twenty clubs have already qualified for the last qualifying round before the Group Phase of the new competition – six of them were directly seeded and eight national champions were redirected to EHF Cup after they had failed in the VELUX EHF Champions League qualification.

The draw for the third round of the competition is to take place on Tuesday, 23 October 2012 at 14:00 hrs (CET) at the EHF headquarters in Vienna. Out of remaining dozen only the winner of the match between HC Dinamo Poltava and RK Siscia will join the Pot 1 of seeded teams.
