Men´s Challenge Cup Round 2 preview
Without a defending trophy holders AC Diomidis Argos the new season of the Men´s EHF Challenge Cup will start during the upcoming weekend 12-14 October with matches of the Round 2.
Eight teams divided in two groups participate in the opening round of the competition played in the tournament format with two best teams from each group making it through to the Round 3.
Estonian club Pölva Serviti will host Group A tournament with OCI Nitrogen-Lions from the Netherlands, Initia Hasselt from Belgium and Mavrommatis Ayiou Pavlou from Cyprus.
The Group B tournament will take place in Chisinau, Moldova with English club Ruislip Eagles, Dragūnas from Lithuania, SPE Strovolos from Cyprus and the home team Olimpus-85-USEFS.
From Round 3 on the competition will be played in the knock-out format with home and away matches. 16 teams are seeded for the Round 3 and six for the Last 16.
Greece´s AC Diomidis Argos participates in the Men´s EHF Cup this season.
