EHF Court of Handball decision

The EHF Court of Handball has reached a decision following disciplinary proceedings against the Macedonian national team player Borko Ristovski.

The EHF Court of Handball looked after the incident involving the player which arose at the 57.11 minute of the 2013 IHF Men's World Championship Qualification Europe play-off match FYR Macedonia - Austria on June 9, 2012.

Borko Ristovski will be sanctioned with a one match suspension at national team level for unsportsmanlike and aggressive behaviour towards an opponent. The sanction is based on article B.2 of the EHF List of Penalties. The player will therefore not be eligible to play in the 2014 EHF Men's EURO Qualification match: FYR Macedonia - Switzerland which will take place in Skopje on October 31, 2012.

An appeal to the EHF Court of Appeal may be lodged by the player and/or his federation within seven days.
