Germany – Men's 18 European Champion

The final was exciting. Both teams played very good and fought until the very last minute. After an extra-time, the German team defeated the favoured Swedes and celebrated the title. 30:29 was the final verdict.

In the Preliminray Round, both teams met for the first time and back then, Sweden won the match. However, Germany got better and better during the tournament and celebrated the final victory.

Denmark won the bronze medal. The Danes defeated Spain 37:32 in the game for the 3rd place. It was a strong match between the two squads but Denmark made the difference in the last minutes and secured the bronze medal.

The host, Austria, lost its last match against Slovenia and made it to the 6th place.
