Manolo Cadenas is back at Ademar Leon
VELUX EHF Champions League participant Reale Ademar Leon will see the return of its former coach, Manolo Cadenas, for the upcoming season.
Cadenas is seen by many to be the most successful coach that has ever been in Leon and he is ready for the tough challenges ahead in the ASOBAL League as well as in the VELUX EHF Champions League.
In 1995, Cadenas started his career in Leon.
The era ended in 2007 when he left for FC Barcelona.
Cadenas spent the last two seasons as a coach of BM Granollers.
With Cadenas as their coach, Leon won the ASOBAL League in 2001, the Copa Del Rey in 2002 and the Cup Winner’s Cup in 1995 and 2005.
Leon has seen a lot of players move on from the club over the summer and has to re-build the team for the upcoming season.
Up to this point Rafael Baena (US Creteil), Venio Losert (KIF Kolding), Antonio Garcia (Paris Handball), Martin Stranovsky (F.C Barcelona), Adrien Di Panda (Saint Raphael ), Alvaro Ferrer (BM Atletico Madrid), Juan Andreu (Hannover Burgdorf ), Vincent Alamo (F.C Benfica ) and Angel Montoro (F.C Barcelona) have left the club to take the next step in their professional careers.
