Norway wins Women 18 European Open

Norway are the winners of the Women 18 European Open.

2,000 spectators came to see the exciting final between Norway and Russia. Norway were ahead for most of the game and won 26:22.

In the game for the 3^rd/4^th place, the Czech Republic defeated Germany after a very close game.

It was an equal match during the first half but the Czechs were better in the last 30 minutes and won the match (23:22).

5^th place goes to the Swedish team that defeated Romania (29:27).

Poland are 7^th after a clear victory against Austria (29:19).

Switzerland defeated Iceland in the game for place 9. After an extra-time the Swiss won 33:31.

11^th place went to Italy. They won 29:20 against Lithuania.

And Belgium secured the second but last place after a victory against Finland (28:16).
