Women’s EHF Champions League Group Phase draw

The draw for the Women’s EHF Champions League Group Matches 2012/13 will be held on 6 July 2012 at 11.00 hrs in the adidas headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

The draw for the Women's EHF Champions League Group Matches will be followed by the VELUX EHF Champions League Group Phase.

Draw procedure

16 teams will be drawn and allocated into four groups of four teams.

Five of the 16 teams are unnamed; these teams will be the individual winners of the Women’s EHF Champions League qualification round and wild card tournament winners. For further information click here.

Additional information
 
All teams - except the wild card qualifier - will be protected by the country of origin rule during the draw, i.e. no two teams from the same country can be drawn in the same group. 

On ehfTV.com there will be live streaming of the draw followed by interviews and reactions from the various team representatives, a live ticker of the draw will go live on Friday morning on eurohandball.com and the event will also be extensively covered on the Official Twitter Channel of the European Handball Federation @EHFMedia.
