Big changes in HC Partizan Beograd

HC Partizan Beograd are going to reconstruct their squad after an extremely successful season in which the Serbian team won the Serbian championship, national cup and Super Cup.

The Serbian champion is going to take to court next season in the qualifcation rounds for the VELUX EHF Champions League with a younger squad and some new faces.

Three experienced players, Vladimir Mandic (left back), Branko Radanovic (left back) and Milos Milinic (line player) decided to finish their professional careers, while Milos Kostadinovic (right wing), Stefan Babic (playmaker) and Stevan Kladarin (left wing) did not sign new contracts.

Reinforcements for next season

Belgrade's team will stay competitive with two reinforcements for the back court positions. Experienced left back Petar Zujovic (31) comes from Tunisia where he won  the championship with Esperance.

Zujovic began his professional career in HC Partizan, he subsequently moved to Cyprus and then Greece where he gained VELUX EHF Champions League experience with Doukas.

The second left back is Marko Pavlovic (30), who comes from the local rival, HC Obilic Beograd.  The two metre tall shooter also has international experience with French US Creteil Handball.

Belgrade's team will be drawn from Pot 2 for the VELUX EHF Champions League Qualification draw.

The draw will take place on Tuesday, 3 July at 1100 in the EHF Office in Vienna, Austria. The draw can be followed live via the eurohandball.com ticker and also via the @EHFMedia Twitter Channel.
