Doha hosts Super Globe

The International Handball Federation has announced the draw for the IHF Super Globe, which will take place from 27 August to 1 September in the Al-Gharaffa Arena Doha.

Taking part will be the VELUX EHF FINAL4 finalists, THW Kiel and Atletico Madrid.

The draw for the Preliminary Rounds took place in the capital of Qatar on Saturday 23 June.

Defending champion THW Kiel will face Mudhar (Saudi-Arabia, Asian representative), Al-Sadd (Qatar, host) and Sydney University (Australia/Oceania representative) in the first stage. 

2011 finalist and European representative Atletico Madrid will compete with Al-Zamalek (Egypt/Africa), Metodista Sao Bernardo (Brazil/Pan America) and Al Jeish (Qatar, wild card participant).
