Beach handball comes to Georgia

Europe's young beach teams will soon be playing out the third edition of the YAC European Beach Handball Championship in the Black Sea resort of Batumi in Georgia.

The three day event will take place from 6-8 July 2012 with 16 teams taking part in the event.

For both tournaments eight teams in the the men's and women's under 18 categories will take part. Teams were drawn into two groups of four teams each.

Participating teams

Men: Croatia, Georgia, Hungary, Norway, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine
