New adidas products to be launched at VELUX EHF FINAL4

adidas, long-standing partner of the European Handball Federation and the VELUX EHF Champions League is to launch two brand-new products for the handball market at the VELUX EHF FINAL4, which throws off in Cologne on Saturday, 26 May 2012.

Launching at the Opening Gala of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 will be the new official match ball of the VELUX EHF Champions League. Fans will be able to catch more than a glimpse of the new distinctive design over the weekend too, with all four VELUX EHF FINAL4 matches in the LANXESS arena to be played with the new distinctive blue and yellow ball.

Handball fans visiting the event will also have the chance to try-out and purchase the latest version of the international sports brand’s most successful handball shoe, the stabil.

The tenth generation of this iconic shoe will be launched at the event and will be available to fans at the adidas stand in the LANXESS arena via the very latest in technology, developed by adidas, Intel and Start JudgeGill, the Virtual Footwear Wall. This innovative and interactive touchscreen technology will be a massive draw to the 20,000 fans arriving in Cologne.

The new VELUX EHF FINAL4 collection

Fans lucky enough to have a ticket for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 will also be able to purchase items from the new adidas VELUX EHF FINAL4 clothing and souvenir collection.

Featuring apparel for men, women and kids as well as scarves, lanyards and shopping bags, the adidas collection features not only VELUX EHF FINAL4 branding but also a new diamond design, which also features on the new official match ball of the competition. All four teams are featured on the adidas range, making for a unique souvenir for all team supporters.

The VELUX EHF FINAL4 collection is only available to purchase during the weekend and only from the adidas stands in the LANXESS arena.
