Atletico Madrid launch new mobile app

VELUX EHF FINAL4 team, Atletico Madrid, have launched a new mobile app ahead of their third appearance in the event.

The app was launched by club CEO, Luis Miguel Lopez and two first team players, Arpad Sterbik and Edu Fernandez.

Fans of the club can download the app to their iPhone or Android mobiles, and see the latest rankings in the VELUX EHF Champions League and Asobal, profiles of the players and follow the club’s Twitter feed.

Commenting on the new development, Luis Miguel Lopez said: “"This is a small step to improve communication from the club to the fans not only of BM Atletico Madrid, but also those who like the sport."

The Spanish side are not the only club in the VELUX EHF FINAL4 to offer their own apps to fans so that they can follow their progress. 

AG Kobenhavn also have their own mobile app for iPhone and Android. THW Kiel offer both iPhone and iPad versions of their app.
