Nascimento extends contract at Hypo

The top scorer of World Championship 2011 in Brazil, Alexandra Do Nascimento, will continue to hunt goals next season for the blue and yellow shirted team in Austria.

Hypo Niederösterreich have extended the contract with the Brazilian international for two more seasons.

Nascimento said about the extension: "I feel very well and comfortable at Hypo and enjoy working with coach András Németh."

"I’m delighted that Ale will remain at the club for a longer term. She’s an incredible player and a key figure in our team. She’s also currently the best player at her position," said coach András Németh.

Nascimento will start her tenth European Cup season with the Lower-Austria based club in the summer: "I plan to achieve a lot on a sporting level in the coming years. My motivation is high prior to the Olympic Games 2012 in London, and with Hypo Niederösterreich I want to aim very high again. We want to fight for the top positions in the EHF Women´s Champions League."
