EHF Women’s European Cups - 2011/12 Semi-Final Draw

The draw for the semi-finals of the women’s EHF European cup competitions takes place at the European Handball Federation headquarters in Vienna, Austria on Tuesday 13 March at 15:00 hrs (local time) and will be available on eurohandball.com as a live ticker.

Three draws will take place; the EHF Women’s Challenge Cup, Women’s EHF Cup Winners’ Cup and the Women’s EHF Cup. The EHF Women’s Champions League semi-final line-up is already known as per the regulations from the previous round.

There are no seedings in the draw; all games will be drawn in the following format:

Each team will have a ball allocated to them.

Each ball will be put in the draw pot

The first semi-final of each cup will consist of:
- The first ball drawn out will be the team that plays the first leg at home first
- The second ball drawn out will be the team that plays the second leg at home

The second semi-final of each cup will consist of:
- The third ball drawn out will be the team that plays the first leg at home first
- The fourth ball drawn out will be the team that plays the second leg at home

The first leg of all four EHF women’s European cup competition matches are due to played 31.03.-01.04.12, whilst the second leg matches are due to played 07.-08.04.12.

The draws are in the following order as follows:

EHF Women's Challenge Cup: Semi-Finals (four teams)

CRO Lokomotiva Zagreb
FRA H.A.C. Handball
FRA Fleury Loiret Handball
TUR Muratpasa Belediyesi SK

EHF Women's Cup Winners' Cup: Semi-Finals (four teams)

The final list of teams will be decided upon the conclusion of the HC Leipzig and Byasen match due to take place on Monday 12 March (19:30 hrs local time).
