Zagreb club director passes away

The European Handball Federation has received the sad news of the passing away of Bartol Kaleb, director of the VELUX EHF Champions League team, HC Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb.

Croatian’s leading handball club has been an important part of the EHF’s top-level club competitions since the foundation of the federation in 1991, and Bartol Kaleb has played a crucial part in the club’s successes.

A commemoration ceremony for the club director took place in Zagreb on Thursday 8 March 2012.

The EHF would like to extend its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Bartol Kaleb as well as all those involved with HC Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb at this difficult time.
