Match times change in final round

With just one more round of the VELUX EHF Champions League Group Phase to play there are still crucial decisions to be made before the Last 16.

Ahead of the weekend’s action, there have been two match throw-off time changes in Group A and Group B, with decisive games for the teams involved now throwing off at the same time.

Group A

The decision as to just which team will go through to the Last 16 in Group A will be decided in the matches Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb vs Kadetten Schaffhausen and Chambery Savoie vs Bosna Sarajevo.

Given the fact that Chambery Savoie and Kadetten Schaffhausen both won their games against each other by four goals, there is a possibility that overall goal difference could decide just who goes through to the next round.

It has therefore been decided to move the throw-off time of the game of Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb vs. Schaffhausen in Zagreb forward by 15 minutes.

This game will now start at the same time as the parallel match in Chambery, on Saturday, 25 February 2012 at 20.30 hrs local time.

Group B

The final qualification decision in Group B includes even more teams as a number of different outcomes are still possible.

The results of the matches especially between MKB Veszprem KC vs Atletico Madrid as well as KS Vive Targi Kielce vs Chekhovskie Medvedi will have a direct influence on the situation of the teams involved in the other games.

The throw-off time of the game of MKB Veszprem KC vs Atletico Madrid in Veszprem has therefore been moved forward by 45 minutes.

This game will now start on Saturday, 25 February 2012 at 17.00 hrs local time, at the same time as the parallel game throws off in Kielce.
