Teams confirmed for IHF/EHF Challenge Trophy

The EHF Competitions Commission at its meeting on 17 and 18 February 2012 confirmed the participation of eight women’s teams in the national team event for emerging nations, the IHF/EHF Challenge Trophy.

The event will be played from 22 to 25 March 2012 in the cities of Veliko Tarnovo and Gabrovo in Bulgaria.

The participating teams will be:

Venue A (Veliko Tarnovo)

1. Faroe Islands
2. Israel
3. Estonia
4. Malta

Venue B (Gabrovo)

1. Bulgaria
2. Latvia
3. Moldova
4. Armenia

Placement matches and the final will be played on Sunday 25 March 2012 in the Orlovetz Sports Hall in Gabrovo.
