VELUX Group to host Last 16 Draw in Denmark

The venue for the Draw for the Last 16 of the VELUX EHF Champions League has been announced by EHF Marketing GmbH, the European Handball Federation’s marketing arm.

Title sponsor of the men’s competition, the VELUX Group, is to host the draw at its headquarters in Horsholm, close to Copenhagen, Denmark on Tuesday 28 February 2012.

The draw event will be streamed live around the world from 11.00 hrs (CET) on Tuesday 28 February at ehfTV.com and fans can follow the draw via the eurohandball.com draw ticker.

Europe’s top men’s teams are still battling it out for a place in the first knock-out round of the continent’s leading club competition, and the tenth and final round on 25 and 26 February looks set to provide a thrilling climax to the Group Phase.

Commenting on the event, Peter Vargo, Managing Director of EHF Marketing GmbH, said: “We are delighted to have been invited by VELUX to host this important event. Representatives of all Last 16 teams will be present at the event as well as EHF officials including Tor Lian, EHF President, Jean Brihault, EHF Vice President and Ralf Dejaco, EHF Treasurer. Michael K. Rasmussen, VELUX Group Director of Branding & Marketing will represent the title sponsor at the event.
