EHF EURO 2012 Photo Special 2
Whilst the EHF EURO 2012 Photo Special – Inside the Serbian Camp, gave fans a unique inside look into the Serbian squad at EHF EURO 2012, official EHF Photographer Uroš Hocevar kept one story back – the story of Serbia’s left back Nenad Vuckovic and his road to recovery from injury.
By chance Hocevar caught a glimpse into the lonely life of an injured player returning to full fitness and the commitment to this.

Again, Hocevar tells ehf-euro.com about the setting and story behind these fantastic, unique pictures in this exclusive feature for the official website of EHF EURO 2012.
“When I arrived at Kovilovo for the main feature, I was waiting in the reception area as the players relaxed a few hours before the team meeting,” said Hocevar.
“Then out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Nenad coming out of the elevator, he had just a few words with the rest of the guys in reception and then disappeared out of the hotel.”
Intrigued by this, Uroš followed the player behind him out of the hotel and into a sparse, desolate car park.
The short walk across the car park of 100 metres ended when Vuckovic disappeared into a warehouse-like building and this is where the story starts.

The Serbian Federation today made a player replacement to their squad: Vuckovic is back in the team for the Final Round, his replacement in the Main Round – Momir Rnic – has left the team again.
