Player suspended

The EHF Court of Handball has reached a decision following disciplinary proceedings against Katarina Bulatovic of Buducnost Podgorica (MNE) after a disqualification following a particularly dangerous action.

The player received a direct disqualification in the last minute of her team’s EHF Women's Champions League match against Thüringer HC on 6 November 2011.

She will be sanctioned with a one match suspension based on article B.1 of the EHF List of Penalties.

The player will therefore not be eligible to play for Buducnost in the next EHF Women's Champions League match against FC Midtjylland (DEN), taking place in Ikast on 11 November 2011.

An appeal to the EHF Court of Appeal may be lodged by the player and/or her club within seven days.

An appeal may not suspend the effects of the decision made by the EHF Court of Handball.
