2011/12 Women’s Cup Winners’ Cup Draw Results

On Tuesday 26 July 2011 six competitions were drawn in the EHF Headquarters, Vienna (AUT). The draw decided the fixtures that form the first two rounds played in all six competitions.

The draw of the 2011/12 Women’s Cup Winners’ Cup was the third draw of the six to take place and was carried out by Andrej Petkovič, president of the Slovenian club ZRK Krka Novo Mesto.

For the first time ever, the teams eliminated in the EHF Women’s Champions League Qualification continue in the Cup Winners’ Cup instead of the EHF Cup as in the previous years.

2011/12 Women’s Cup Winners’ Cup Round 1

HC Garliava-SM (LTU) vs. HC Zito Prilep (MKD)
Initia Hasselt (BEL) vs. ZRK Krka Novo Mesto (SLO)

The first leg matches will be played on 1/2 November 2011, the second leg matches one week later on 8/9 November 2011.

The first leg matches will be played on 3/4 September 2011, the second leg matches one week later on 10/11 September 2011. The winners proceed to Round 3. The fixtures of that stage will be drawn on Tuesday, 11 October 2011.
