ECA case EHF / SUI – settlement reached

The Swiss Handball Federation and the EHF have reached a settlement to close the proceedings of the EHF Court of Arbitration regarding the case relating to the 2012 Men’s EHF European Championship Qualification match between Russia and Switzerland, which took place in Chekhov, Russia on 27 October 2010. A respective request was filed to the EHF Court of Arbitration by the parties involved.

As a consequence of this settlement, the match concerned shall not be replayed (as decided by the EHF Arbitration Tribunal) and the match result is confirmed as 36:34 in favour of Russia. The EHF has already taken measures regarding the work of match delegates, both at technical and administrative levels.
