The European Handball Federation has announced the signing of a cooperation deal with Air Structures International (ASI), manufacturer of the unique iGoal line of inflatable goalposts.

The EHF will use the high quality inflatable goals for its development programmes for beach and mini handball.  The EHF has 49 member federations and one associated federation and this is a cooperation agreement lasting until February 2013.

ASI will produce iGoals in EHF brand colours with blue posts and yellow nets which will include both EHF and ASI logos.  The 2400mm x 1600mm iGoal will be used for mini handball with 3000mm x 2000mm for beach handball.

Commenting on the new partnership, Helmut Höritsch, who is responsible for education and development at the European Handball Federation, said: “We are very happy with the iGoal product, it is very functional and safe for schools and clubs to use, and will form an important part of our development programmes for both mini and beach handball in the future.”

Peter Rose, ASI General Manager, said: “We are pleased to enter into this agreement with the European Handball Federation which extends the popular iGOAL to a new market.”
