The Seminar for Signatories took place on 11/12 February 2011 in Vienna (AUT).

2011 EHF Rinck Convention Seminar

The 2010 edition of the Rinck Convention, presented to and signed by the 21 current Rinck Convention Members at the 2010 EHF Congress in Copenhagen, has been re-designed

  • to foster handball development in the field of coaching
  • by setting-up an appropriate 4 category coaching education structure/framework in all EHF Member Federations
  • to facilitate the mobility of professional coaches within Europe in compliance with EU standards (“Bologna Process”)

The EHF and the Rinck Convention Signatories agreed-upon the “common mission” for finding ways of encouraging and assisting non-signatories to join the EHF Rinck Convention, for the sake of a coherent development of coaches’ education in all EHF Member Federations.

Additional information on current trends like “Streethandball” or modern game analysis was provided to the technical experts, responsible for the coaching education in their national federations.

The results of the seminar, led by EHF MC member Wolfgang Pollany, will be discussed and followed-up in the next EHF methods Commission (MC) meeting in Vienna on 25/26 February 2011.
