2011 Men's U21 World Championship Qualification Europe
As the first competition event of the 2011 EHF calendar, 31 federations are playing the Qualification Europe for 8 remaining tickets to the 2011 Men's U21 World Championship.
The final tournament will be played in Greece on 17 to 31 July 2011.
Three federations are already qualified: Greece as the organising country, as well as Denmark and Portugal, who ended ranked first and second at the 2010 M20 European Championship in Bratislava (SVK).
Qualification Modus
The draw event on 24 September 2010 in Copenhagen (DEN) gave us 7 groups of 4 teams and 1 group of 3 teams.
The Qualification Europe matches will be played in eight tournaments, each in its own specific venue, from Friday, 7 January to Sunday, 9 January 2011.
The eight group winners will qualify for the final tournament in Greece (IHF Event).
