The Swedish international will stay with Danish champions.
AaB retain Lennartsson
Danish champions AaB Håndbold are holding on to Swedish international Jan Lennartsson. The Aalborg club, who won the Danish championship in May for the first time in history, have extended their contract with the 28 year old right winger for another year. The cooperation will last until the summer of 2011.
Lennartsson, who has played 106 international games for Sweden, has been with the Danish club for three years already. In his close to a hundred matches he scored over 300 goals for AaB.
"During several years already, Jan Lennartsson has proved that he is one of the absolutely best right wingers in Danish handball. He has been an important player for us, on and off the court, and therefore we are happy that he is staying at AaB for the upcoming season, too," AaB sports director Jan Larsen said at the announcement of the extension of the contract with the Swede.
