Tyrolean holiday paradise in partnership with the EHF FINAL4

Vienna, 25 May 2010 EHF Marketing GmbH is proud to present a new partnership agreement for the EHF Champions League FINAL4. The event taking place in front of 19,500 people in the LANXESS arena of Cologne will be a great opportunity for the promotion activities of the Zillertal Tourist Agency.

Situated in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps, Zillertal has for many years been a hit with Austrian and international guests with its pure nature and tradition. “Thirty percent of the Zillertal is a designated nature park,” explains Gernot Paesold, CEO of the Zillertal Tourist Agency. “Many years of Zillertal tradition manifests itself in a varied offering of music and events. Explore the unique Mountain Experience by attending one of the several culinary and sport events like the Zillertal Bike Challenge or enjoy the famous organic food of the Zillertal Alps.” The wonderful diversity of Zillertal is reflected in the uniqueness of the four regions of Erste Ferienregion, Mayrhofen/Hippach, the Zillertal Arena and Tux-Finkenberg.

Fans making their way to Cologne visiting the high-profile handball tournament will get a taste of the power source Zillertal Alps with its many facets to provide those seeking recreation with fresh energy. 1000km gorgeous hikes through unspoilt landscapes and sensational panoramas on 800km of mountain bike routes promise unforgettable moments among the 55 three-thousand-metre peaks of the Zillertal and Tux Alps. This unique mountain experience is perfected with 135 huts, which supply pleasure-seeking guests with specialties made from real natural products.

The cooperation will give the possibility to the Zillertal Tourist Agency for a wide range of promotion activities. The agency will be present with promotion stands and use the stadium giant screens to attract travellers in the region. Zillertal will also appear in the free programme magazine of the EHF FINAL4.
