World Champions meet in Sweden

The EHF FINAL4 team was in Sweden over the weekend to spread the word about the new final phase of the EHF Men's Champions League, taking place in Cologne, Germany in just a few weeks' time.

EHF FINAL4 Ambassador, the Swedish handball legend, Stefan Lövgren, was on hand to help with the promotion during Swedish handball's Cup Final in the sold-out Malmö Arena, giving away two pairs of tickets to handball fans during the men's final.

But there was a surprise in store for the 1999 World Handball Champion, little was he to know that one of the handballs he threw into the 12,000 capacity crowd would be caught by another World Champion, the Swedish boxer, Armand Krajnc, who won the WBO Middleweight title back in 1999.

Krajnc and his daughter will now make their way to Germany at the end of May along with 19,498 other handball fans to enjoy the biggest club handball event of the year in the LANXESS arena in Cologne.

Tickets are available for handball and boxing fans, just visit the EHF FINAL4 website, www.ehfFinal4.com, where tickets are available to buy online in all price categories.

Meanwhile back to Sweden, where IK Sävehof from Partille near Gothenburg, organisers of the world-famous junior tournament, the Partille Cup, were victorious in both the men's and women's matches, defeating Drott Halmstad and Skövde, becoming the first team to ever take both Swedish Cup titles in the same year.
