Save the date: EHF EURO 2010 Final Tournament Draw

The Final Tournament Draw is coming up for the Women’s EHF EURO 2010. On 5 June 2010 the two organising countries of the European Championship, Denmark and Norway, will meet for a friendly game in Odense. The draw will be carried out in the half-time of the match, which will be the highlight of the celebrations of the Danish Handball Federation’s 75th anniversary.

On 5 June the Denmark vs Norway friendly match will throw off in Arena Fyn at 16:15hrs.

Who will be there?

The 16 national teams taking part will be known by 30 May when the qualification for the Women's EHF EURO 2010 will come to an end with Round 6. The two organising countries are fixed, while 7 other nations have already secured their places.

It means that Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Montenegro, Russia and Spain can already prepare for the draw together with Denmark and Norway.

Competition’s Conference

These events in Denmark will also give an opportunity for the European Handball Federation to organise the EHF Women’s Competition’s Conference (4th - 6th June 2010). This will be an important event for targeting future strategies and developing women’s handball.
