EHF Men’s CL Quarterfinal draw

With the 2nd leg of the Last 16 round completed on Sunday, the best eight teams of the EHF Men’s Champions League are set for the draw.

The fixtures of the Quarterfinal will be decided by draw on 6 April 2010 at 11:00hrs in the EHF HQ, Vienna. The lots will be taken by the EHF Competitions Commission Chairman, Jan Tuik.

Draw Procedure

The teams will be divided into two different pots. The winners of the Last 16 fixture between the teams ranked 1 and 4 in the Group Phase were placed in Pot 1. The winners of the Last 16 fixtures between the teams ranked 2 and 3 in the Group Phase were placed in Pot 2.

The teams in pot 1 will be drawn against the teams in pot 2. There is no protection for teams from the same national federation or other restriction of any kind.

The teams from pot 2 will play the first game at home, while the home right in the second match is with the teams from pot 1.

The event will be broadcast live on www.ehftv.com. Following the draw, you can watch live interviews from the venue with club managers who give quick statements on the draw results.
