With the Beach Handball season coming soon to Europe, you can find four new web periodicals on the EHF Activities website. The four articles written by Beach Handball experts deal with various aspects of the game.

World Games 2009

The article of Oliver König, Jan van de Vyle, Ioannis Meimaridis and Alex Gehrer summarises the findings of a detailed statistical/technical analysis of the Beach Handball competition of the World Games 2009 in Kaohsiung. The study gives an insight to the functioning of the scouting system applied at the games. Click to download.

Teaching Beach Handball

In their essay, Martin Tuma and Frantisek Taborsky propose an effective way of promoting Beach Handball: including the game in the study programmes of physical education teachers.
