The unlucky Hungarian’s comeback only lasted very shortly.
Görbicz Injured Again
The best Hungarian player, Anita Görbicz is injured again after only recently having recovered from a cruciate ligament tear from May 2009.
In the league match between Békéscsaba (4th in the Hungarian Championship) and Hungarian champion Győr Görbicz she made a bad step in an attack. She couldn't leave the court on her own legs.
Győr’s world class playmaker’s knee was examined in the dressing room in the second half. The doctor’s diagnosis is a cartilage injury.
It seems as if Görbicz has got to have another leg surgery, and will be out for at least 2 months.
Even without her Győr won the match 20-22 and is still unbeaten in the Hungarian League as Amorim and company have won all their 18 matches.
