Milan Torbica accepted for the EURO

The EHF has revised the Official Squad list of the Serbian National Team with regard to the playing eligibility of Milan Torbica.

As it was published earlier, the player was found ineligible to take part at the EHF EURO 2010 by not fulfilling the IHF Players’ Eligibility Code; accordingly, the EHF did not accept the nomination of Milan Torbica.

Based on the information provided by the Serbian Handball Federation and finally by the player himself, the EHF has revised its decision. With regard to the fact that the EHF found no evidence of Milan Torbica playing for any other national team than the Serbian NT in the past, the player is accepted on the Official Squad List of the Serbian Handball Federation.

The Serbian Official Squad now includes 28 players.
