Historic goal in Barcelona

The victory of Barcelona over the past weekend saw a very special moment in the CL history of the club. The teams were nearing the halftime break when Victor Tomas converted a good pass from Igropulo. This goal was the 6,000th EHF Champions League goal of the Spanish club.

As Victor Tomas admitted after the game, he did not know about the importance of his goal. “It is good to help the team,” he commented on the website of the Catalonians. Apart from the historic goal, the right winger scored another four at the victory against Kolding.
