Croatian derby in Hamburg

Sunday's match Hamburg vs Zagreb can be called a Croatian derby. Domagoj Duvnjak, Igor Vori and Blaženko Lacković will welcome their national team-mates.

Just few months ago nobody could imagine that Zagreb will play against Duvnjak and Vori in “German capital of sport“. Today, both sides are highly motivated for this important encounter.

Vori vs Løke

Igor Vori scored 10 goals against Lemgo in Bundesliga match and proved his excellent form. Croatian line player was key-figure in Zagreb team. His departure was big blow. But Frank Løke came. Norwegian substituted Vori perfectly – in offence as well as in defence.

Domagoj Duvnjak also played good match against Lemgo scoring three goals with many excellent assists.

The Croatian back is not satisfied with Hamburg’s start in CL. Still, he believes in his team:

“We played a bad match and Ciudad Real deserved to win. Now we must defeat Zagreb in Hamburg and continue winning. We are one of the best teams of Europe and I believe we can prove it.“

Considering their excellent form, performance of Vori and Duvnjak against their ex team-mates can decide the winner of Croatian derby in Hamburg.
