Claim filed in the Loke case

Frank Loke filed a claim to the EHF Court of Arbitration (ECA) after having been suspended by the EHF Arbitration Tribunal on 30 September 2009 for a period of nine months from all international club competitions and fined €10,000. Loke signed two contracts for the same period of time with two different clubs.

Together with his claim, Frank Loke requested the suspension of the implementation of the EHF Arbitration Tribunal decision as an interim protective measure.

Today, the ECA suspended the decision of the EHF Arbitration Tribunal for a period of 30 days (until 1 November 2009); however, this can be revised by the ECA arbitrators who will be nominated for the case.

As a consequence, as of today Frank Loke can take part in all EHF competitions.
