EURO Qualification week

Poland have to pass Group 1 on the way to AustriaRound 7 and 8 will be played this week at the EURO 2010 Qualification. Once again, handball fans can watch 30 games all around Europe, most of them on TV as well.

The next 12 days will decide which teams will qualify for EHF EURO 2010. The host country Austria and the title holder Denmark are eager to find out the 14 national teams who will join them for the EURO draw coming up on 24 June in Vienna.

In fact, the last two rounds are much more than pure formality. Each group is still open and we are in for a huge battle for the EURO places. Not even the most successful handball nations, France or Spain, can feel safe. On the other hand, upcoming teams such as the Netherlands have a fair chance to make it to Austria.
