Vérten: No surprises
Orsolya Vérten scored 59 goals this season, which puts her on rank 3 within the Hungarian top scorer list. In Austria she was not particularly prolific and her goals could mean a lot for Győri ETO. The left winger talks to Eurohandball.com before the second leg of the CL semi-final.
Eurohandball.com: It was a tough game in Austria that you lost by one goal...
Orsolya Vérten: The defences were agressive on both sides, but that’s part of the game. I believe it will be the same on Sunday.
Eurohandball.com: Last season you failed to reach the Final on home court against Zvezda. Do you still think about that game?
Orsolya Vérten: We do not talk about it anymore. We won the away game back then, so now we will start from a different situation. I hope we are mature for this task now.
Eurohandball.com: What do you expect from the game?
Orsolya Vérten: Great atmosphere, first of all. There are no tickets left and the fans will also do everything for the victory.
Eurohandball.com: Hypo were dangerous on counter attacks a week ago. Do you prepare for that?
Orsolya Vérten: Both teams are strong in this respect. Of course, we are watching videos looking for mistakes, but there can be no major surprises for either of the teams on Sunday. We are just trying to fix a couple of game elements in the last days.
