The draw for the W17 ECh Final Tournament took place in Vienna.
W17 European Championship
The draw for the 2009 Women’s 17 European Championship final tournament was carried out on 24 March 2009 in the EHF Office, Vienna.
The participating teams were seeded based on the ranking of the 2007 W17 ECh in SVK:
POT 1: FRA, ESP, CRO, RUS
POT 2: NOR, DEN, SVK, HUN
POT 3: MKD, NED, SRB, CZE
POT 4: ROU, SWE, LTU, GER
