Golubić: “Krimovci” can make a difference

Eurohandball.com talks to Croatian international, Dijana Golubić. The right winger believes Krimovci can make a difference in Győr.

Dijana Golubić was one of the best players at the recently played Serbia trophy, proving once again her excellent form. Croatia defeated Serbia, FYR Macedonia and the Romanian B squad and won the prize.

Golubic in front of the "Krimovci"Eurohandball.com: You scored 50 action goals in this CL season. It is a great achievement especially without 7-meter shots. Is this your best season ever?

Dijana Golubić: I don't know, to be honest. I hope that the following seasons will be better. I just play and work hard trying to improve.

Eurohandball.com: The match in Győr can be decisive for the semi-finals. Ikast already demonstrated that the Hungarian champions are not unbeatable at home. What are your expectations?

Dijana Golubić: Everybody knows that these last two matches are very important for us. If we win, we go to the semi-finals. After good results everyone around the club has even bigger desire and that’s nice. On the other hand we don't feel any pressure because we did well this season. Every further step is an additional achievement.

Eurohandball.com: Győr won the first match in Ljubljana. Can Krim fight back on their home court?

Playing in good formDijana Golubić: Yes we can. We made far too many mistakes in the first match, lots of missed clear chances and our defence was not good. We should not think about Győr, just concentrate on our game and the result will come. It will be a very tough match and I hope we will win.

Eurohandball.com: The fan club of the team, Krimovci, will travel to Győr with three buses.

Dijana Golubić: This means really a lot for us. It is always good to have someone cheering for you when you play away. In the past they were great help especially in away matches. I believe they can make a difference in Győr too.
