Golubić is back

Dijana Golubić returned just in time. After a muscle injury sustained in December, she scored 11 goals in last two rounds of the CL and helped her team to reserve a place in the eight best teams of Europe.

Now she is the second best scorer of Krim Mercator with 30 goals in the CL.

Eurohandball.com: Your have defeated Hypo in Vienna this season in the Regional League. In the CL you are in the main round after beating a powerful Viborg. Is it the return of Krim to European top handball?

Dijana Golubić: We played well and we also had luck. Our form is rising and I hope we will continue to like that in rest of the season.

Eurohandball.com: Luckily, you recovered quickly without missing a CL match.

Dijana Golubić: I’m very happy because of that. I was injured during at training in December. I felt something in my muscle and it was diagnosed a rupture of a muscle. The first predictions were 4-6 weeks of pause, but it healed pretty fast. I tried to play in the fifth round of the CL against Nürnberg and everything went ok.

Eurohandball.com: After taking second place in Group D, you will continue in the Main Round against Győr, Oltchim and Buducnost. What do you think about these opponents?

Dijana Golubić: There will be no easy matches, but we are used to win tough matches. Every opponent will be very dangerous. We will do everything in our power to continue winning.
