The Montenegrins reinforce their team on the left wing before the main round.
Grozdanic in Buducnost
After Croatian goalkeeper Sanela Knezovic, coming from Dunaferr, Buducnost T-Mobile will reinforce with a left winger before the Main Round.
The new player is Sladjana Grozdanic coming from the Serbian club Radnicki NIS Petrol, where she played the first part of the season.
Her former club Radnicki withdrew form the Serbian Super league due to financial reasons and she was close to move to Knjaz Milos. But the call of Buducnost changed everything and Grozdanic signed a contract until the end of the season.
“It’s an honour and pleasure to be a player of Buducnost, especially to play in the Champions League. It’s a big challenge for me to be playing in Podgorica. It’s not necessary to talk about the quality of my new team; my ambitions coincide with the club’s, so I believe I will help Buducnost to keep doing well in CL,” said Sladjana Grozdanic.
Grozdanic was born in Montenegro, Niksic, where she began her career. After that she played for Serbian Crvena zvezda and Lasta. Because of the shoulder injury Grozdanic was out of the court for a while, but came back successfully this season. She was member of the Serbian national team at the European Championship in Sweden in 2006.
