Mocsai: We will enjoy playing in Flensburg

One of the probably highest quality game of the round will be played in Group F. Flensburg will host Veszprém and the result will have great importance for both clubs.

MKB Veszprém coach, Lajos Mocsai, talks to before the game in North Germany.

The first game brough a spectacular What do you think about the chances in your group with only two games left?

Lajos Mocsai: Our fate will be decided in the last two games. This weekend we will travel to Flensburg where the game will be followed with great attention. I talked to their club manager, Flynn Holpert, who is a good friend of mine, and he told me that there are only a few standing tickets left for sale.

It will be difficult to win there, but the qualification will depend on the Haukar game in Hungary. That won’t be easy either. What do you know about Flensburg?

Lajos Mocsai: Flensburg are very strong on home court; they lose not more than one or two games at home in a whole season. They have a solid defence and put the emphasis on quick counter attacks. In addition, they have great players.

I prepare for a difficult game, but we will put up strong resistance. You have beaten Flensburg at home? What’s changed ever since in your team?

Lajos Mocsai: I don’t believe that we would be stronger or weaker respect to a month ago. We have won our domestic league game during the week and after that we tried to prepare for the Flensburg game as perfectly as possible. You may have a psychological advantage. There’s more at stake for Flensburg this time...

Lajos Mocsai: The next two matches will be decisive for us, not only this one. Accordingly, they can lose more this time. However, the points also have a big importance. Walking on to the Main Round with four points is a huge advantage.

We will prepare for a game in front of six thousand fans and we will try to do well there. We enjoy playing in such atmosphere.
