Many changes, ambitious plans

Champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosna Sunce osiguranje presented their new players for the season and talked about their objectives.

New players, high ambitions

The Montenegrin Djurkovic played against Bosna last seasonMany new faces will appear in Ramiz Salcin hall: Ratko Djurkovic, Nebojsa Golic, Amir Cakic, Bakir Buljugija, Umberto Brajkovic, Aco Jonovski, Ognjen Kajganic, Fahrudin Melic and Tarik Medjic.

The goal of the club is to defend the championship and cup titles in Bosnia and to try to reach the 16 best teams of Europe.

“It will be very hard to reach the next stage because we have a very strong group. But also we have a good team able to cause some surprise. Of course the third place and a Cup Winners’ Cup qualification would be also acceptable for us,” said coach Gregor Cvijic.

The most important reinforcement coming to the team is Ratko Djurkovic, the Montenegrin international. The 33-year old line player arrives from Szeged.

"I am very satisfied with everything that I saw here. The only problem is our form, but this is normal for teams after changing so many players,” said Djurkovic.

Main sponsor “Sunce osiguranje”

The handball club Bosna recently also signed contract with a new main sponsor, the insurance company Sunce osiguranje, member of the Agram Corporation.
