Butulija: “We need help”

After qualifying for the CL group phase, coach of Crvena Zvezda held a press conference and asked the help of sponsors, the city and the state.

“If we want to be part of Europe and get closer to it, we also need clubs to represent us in Europe on a high level. I ask everybody who can to help us,” Butulija said.

“We have to build something that will last; we have to build players gradually. It's true that great results cannot be expected this season but we have four “handball pearls” in our team. And we have an obligation to make world class players from them.”

Great support from the fans

Butulija was impressed by the support of the public:

“There wasn't a single seat available in the hall against Casarano. 300 stayed in front of the hall because there wasn't any space left inside. People appreciate our work and they feel that we are doing a valuable work here.”

Crvena Zvezda will play CL matches in “Pionir” hall on Sundays. The first opponent on the 5th of October will be FCK Copenhagen, the champions of Denmark. As always, a huge number of fans is expected.
