Ademar sign Bicanic and Kos

Ademar Leon confirmed the signings of Damir Bicanic from Zagreb Croatia osiguranje and Igor Kos from Celje Pivovarna Lasko. Both players signed for a period of three years.

Saric (drinking) will leave and Play for Portland to replace MatosevicThe left back player Bicanic is only 23 years old. He is one of the most talented Croatian handball players at the moment.

So far he played in Osijek, Medvescak and Zagreb Croatia osiguranje, improving day by day. In this CL season only, he scored 38 goals.

Igor Kos is 30 and brings experience to the team of Jordi Ribera. The right back played in Zagreb, Chambery, Creteil and Flensburg. His skills will be helpful in both attack and defence.

They both have powerful shots, something that Ademar Leon badly needs. Bicanic will probably be a substitute for Valcic, while Kos will have to fill the place of Laluska who went back to his home club, Hungarian Szeged.

Valter Matosevic will leave Pamplona

The Croatian international goalkeeper, Valter Matosevic, will leave Portland after a season. Ciudad Real’s coach, Talant Dujsebaev, has confirmed that Matosevic will play for Ciudad next year to help Sterbik and Hombrados. The place of Valter will be taken by Danjel Saric in Portland.

Portland were not able to win a title, which was not satisfactory for Matosevic.

“It is a pity that I failed to win a trophy. However, I enjoyed living in Pamplona and playing for Portland. I arrived in Pamplona to win titles and I was hopeful. It could be my last chance to win the Champions League because I have lost three finals”.

These nine months in Pamplona had bad and good moments for Matosevic:

“I only knew Balic and Dominikovic and I have known very good mates. Ruesga and Malmagro were a surprise to me. They are young and they have a great future in the Spanish national team. The Spanish league is very good and I think that I will be in Spain next season”.

Matosevic lived alone in Pamplona, which was difficult for him.

“I missed my family a lot because they are in Croatia. My wife has given birth to my daughter Tia and I could not be with them. It’s not easy. However, it was not difficult to get used to Pamplona as it is not very different from Croatia”.
