Men’s EHF Cup: Aragon try again

You can see top stars in the Men’s EHF Cup competition with Aragon going for the title once again after losing in the finals of last season.

Nordhorn vs Yuzhny

Aragon's Llorente was playing in good form in the EHF CupThe German team are among the top favourites for the final victory. Nordhorn are currently fourth on the Bundesliga table, which is not even surprising with international stars such as Glandorf, Myrhol, Sprem or Kukucka in the team. Yuzhny, who were in the CL last season, have already beatan another German side, Grosswallstadt on their way to the quarterfinals.

Dunkerque vs Kopenhagen

The French difficulties with a Latvian and a Russian opponent on the way, but their Tunisian star, Ben Aziza, always helped the team out with his goals. The Danes have several high-profile players, such as the goalkeeping star of the Euro2008, Steinar Ege. With him in the goal, they are still unbeaten in the competition.

Chambery vs Aragon

This might be the biggest derby of the round. Last year’s finalist, Aragon, will meet a star-studded French side. The team of the legendary Jackson Richardson have players such as the French Narcisse and the Slovenian Natek. Nevertheless, they got this far with two defeats. Aragon have shown last year what they are able to do with their stars, Zaki, Doder or Lapajne.

As the first leg was played on Wednesday and Chambery only won by 33:30 (12 goals by Narcisse), the return game will be more than interesting.

Skopje vs Koper

The FYR Macedonian side also have CL experience from last year, though they were not able to clinch many successes in the CL that time. This year they knocked a Spanish team, Granollers, out to come this far. The Slovenian Koper have even made a bigger surprise than this by beating Lemgo in the previous round. Their best players, Buntic or Mrvaljevic, are not unknown on an international level.
