Ciudad Real sign Josep Masachs

The Catalonian Josep Masachs will play for Ciudad Real until the June of 2008. Ciudad decided to sign this player to cover the place of Christian Hjermind on the right wing.

Masachs is 24 years old; he was playing this season in Naturhouse Logroño, a lower ranked Asobal club. This deal closes a very interesting winter when Pajovic returned from Kiel and Hjermind left the club to go back to Denmark.

The hometown club of Masachs is Granollers where had played until two season ago. The Catalonian has also played for Spain’s Junior national team and he was a very important help for Naturhouse Logroño to stay in the first division last season.

Ciudad Real sign Masachs for six months and the player will share the right winger position with Roberto Garcia Parrondo.

Naturhouse Logroño and Ciudad Real have a very good relationship. Ion Belaustegi, Julio Fis and Alberto Aguirrezabalaga are currently on loan from Ciudad Real in Logroño. Both clubs are satisfied with the cooperation that reinforces their roasters.
