BOJANA POPOVIC returns to Podgorica  

On Friday evening Popovic will play again in front of Montenegrin fans – not as a player of Buducnost T-Mobile, but as probably the best player of Viborg, also one of the best players in the world.

Viborg are coming for two points as strong favourites. But everybody on the Danish side knows that it will not be an easy job, especially because of the great home crowd.

And Bojana Popovic knows something about that:

“I have no fear before the game, but I will enter the court with lots of emotions. I haven’t played for a long time in the “Moraca” hall. I’m happy to play in front of the best fans in Europe. I believe that the hall will be full and that the atmosphere will be great. There is a decrease in the number of fans around Europe, but that is not the case in Podgorica. I spoke a lot with the players and people in my club, and I hope I’m right when I say that the game in “Moraca” hall will be a great show,” said Bojana Popovic to Eurohandball.com.

Whether Buduconst can be a tough opponent of Viborg, Popovic explains:

“I know that all the players will give their best in the game and they prepare for the match the best possible. They will play with their hearts and the home team will have a big support from the fans. We have more experience, but we must give 100 percent if we want to beat Buducnost. Everything is possible, may the best win,” added Bojana Popovic, who played four years in Buducnost.
