Viborg’s sports director quits
In the middle of the Women’s Champions League, Viborg HK will have to look for a new sports director. Michael Hansen, is leaving the club at the end of the season to start as players´ adviser in the sports agent company, People in Sport.
“Viborg HK meant a lot for me and I’m grateful for the time I spent in the club. It has been a great time with many interesting events, good colleagues and fine cooperation with the entire organisation. I’m proud to have been part of one of the world´s greatest handball clubs,” Michael Hansen said.
The director’s sorrow
Viborg HK´s managing director, Peter Cassøe, makes no secret of the fact that he regrets Michael Hansen´s decision.
“The results we achieved with Michael as sports director speak for themselves. Furthermore, he has been a great chief of finances. Therefore we are sad that he decided to leave us, but we wish him the best luck with his new job,” Peter Cassøe said.
Viborg HK will be looking for a new sports director for their women’s team.
